Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is the American basketball player for the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a college basketball player with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Wings selected her as the fifth pick of the year 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale was a Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale is her 26-year-old brother. While in high school, Ogunbowale has won numerous awards and was recognized as a celebrity. Arike graduated from Divine Savior Holy Angels High School which is located in her hometown. Arike also participated in three seasons of varsity while she was studying at the school. Ogunbowale, with her extraordinary skills and abilities, led her team to incredible victories numerous times. High schooler Ogunbowale has made an appearance in 73 games and has accumulated 1,477 rebounds as well as 1,477 points throughout her playing career. Ogunbowale was awarded gold medals during the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship as well as the 2014. FIBA U17 World Championship, as well as the 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship. She was named to the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team on the 7th of July 2014. Ogunbowale was in her first collegiate seasons she was selected as her ACC All-Freshman Team.
